Boytown

Boytown

Another instance of me willing a film to be good, simply out of love for the people involved. Another instance me being disappointed. Jokes and potentially amusing songs that were ruined by the PR campaign, leaving nothing left to discover but the mundane plot they came up with to string them together into a film.

In fairness I didn’t get through half of this so I can’t comment fully, but it really didn’t look too promising early on. Obviously. It also had to convince me there was new comedic ground here left to pursue that the excellent Get Ready to be Boyzvoiced hadn’t already pillaged. It didn’t, but still, I’m happy that these guys get to make movies. I just wish I liked them a lot more.
