Unbreakable

Unbreakable

This movie is an excellent inclusion in Joey-Jojo Junior Shabadoo’s (M. Night Shyamlahan’s) repertoire. In the same vein as Signs his intellectual engagement of the audience really makes for an enjoyable time. This is really a superhero movie like Batman or Spiderman minus the sensationalism, Bruce Willis is awesome and really makes the movie. In many of Night’s movies children play an extremely important role in the main character’s journey – in Unbreakable it is the son of the main character who had faith in his father – prepared even to shoot his father at one point to prove it.

The way Night wrote the story is impeccable – his development of the story is fantastic and really gives the audience the substance they need to fully believe the doubt and subsequent choices of the characters in the movie. The development of the ‘arch-enemy’ character is so good that you feel compassion for him at the end, which also proves how much the audience is lead to identify with the ‘hero’ character.

I’m impressed with the movie so much, I think I’ll enjoy many more watches.

This movie is defiantly TOP CRAP!
