Lost Things

Lost Things

Lost Things was shot in a short amount of time and with very little money and, unfortunately, it shows. It’s always admirable when a film is made on next to nothing, but it would be wrong to judge a film on how it was made rather than what it is.

While Lost Things has the occasional moments of style, it is ultimately a mess of a film. With a very confusing script, poorly lit scenes and overdubbed dialogue that makes the whole film sound flat, sadly it proves that sometimes quality does boil down to the budget. Still I do believe there is talent at work here, it’s just not apparent given the production constraints.
