Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure
I’m always gonna have a soft spot for the zany adventures of one Bill. S. Preston Esq. and his airhead band-mate Ted Theodore Logan. While their first outing isn’t anywhere near as hilarious as the totally fucking surreal sequel, it is still far ahead of most other teen comedies. Time–travelling stoners kidnapping history’s most famous men and women just for a school assignment? Genius. Man, I would love to have been present when this idea got pitched to the studio bosses.
